An entryway sets the tone for the entire home. This project restored calm to the first space seen upon arrival—and the last one touched before heading out the door.

Surfaces were cleared and sorted by purpose: daily essentials, occasional items, and things “just passing through.” Hooks were adjusted to a child’s eye level, baskets assigned for shoes, and a slim tray added to catch keys and mail.

The transformation wasn’t about adding storage—it was about creating flow. Every item now has a natural landing place, and the space feels lighter within minutes of tidying.
